    Abstract
The main objective of this study was to develop a web-based discussion forum for all the Youths in Uganda. The project addresses the problem of lack of a well established platform that could be used for smooth information and resource sharing amongst the Youths in Uganda. The major significance of this study is that with an on-line discussion forum as a resource, information sharing and learning tool, young people have the potential to vastly expand the opportunities for the youth to interact outside their circles of life at any time and at any distance, since resources on the web are generally available all the time. The study then gives a detailed description of the literature review which consists of a critical review of research work from journals, internet sources and other projects already done which are related to Web-based Discussion Forums as well as an analysis of existing literature on the subject with the objective of revealing contributions, weaknesses and gaps. The methodology gives a description of methods which the researcher used to achieve the objectives of the study/research. It comprises of project design which describes the tools, instruments, approaches, processes and techniques, and data structures to be used in the research study, data collection, analysis, synthesis, design, logical flow, implementation, testing and validation.
