The Internet as a new technology has revolutionalized information collection, search, and distribution. The major objective of this project is to develop an automated information system for Uganda Muslim supreme council. Currently, information capturing, processing and dissemination is manual. The current information dissemination system of Uganda Muslim supreme council was studied using the available documents and interviews. Its weaknesses include being slow, costly and therefore inefficient as far as disseminating information is concerned. It was noted that an automated information system is needed to resolve the weaknesses. An Automated information dissemination system has been developed, with the traits such as time saving, improved efficiency, cost effectiveness, global access and convenience to meet any stake holder’s requests. It is advisable that Uganda Muslim Supreme Council changes from their manual means of information dissemination to an automated information dissemination system.
