The report throws light on how the contractor makes applications of payment up to the stage of the Project manager issuing a payment certificate. Inexperience in handling public contracts and unnecessary political pressure are some of the challenges experienced on the project. The report concludes with the steps that have to be performed for a project to be completed successfully. Recommendations are made that have to be addressed for project management to be improved in Uganda.
