Ethnic pluralism and political centralisation: the basis of political conflict in Uganda

Abstract

The paper contends that the struggle for participation and control of political power is at the centre, is one of the major causes of political conflict in this country. In the end, the paper advocates for the decentralization of power amid the creation of a strong system of local government as a means of minimizing political conflict in Uganda.
