| Abstract: | Introduction: The aim of Short Term Activities (STA) funding is to support small scale activity which furthers research cooperation between universities, university colleges and research institutions in the South(UiS) and in Norway(UiN). The support is normally within a limit of NOK 100.000, and is a one time support that does not go beyond one calendar budgetary year.
The funding may support activities between existing partner institutions as well as
with new institutions. However in the case of an application concerning planning of co-operation with new institutions the NUFU Board will decide on the suggested extension of the NUFU portfolio before deciding on the particular application.
A STA-application to NUFU should be planned and worked out jointly by the cooperating
partner institutions The application signed by the proposing academic coordinators should be forwarded through the Department/Centre of each cooperating institution for assessment and approvable for being signed by the Head of Department and the Rector/Vice-Chancellor at both institutions respectively. |
