Abstract: Sign nails are a new generation of solid IM-nails, which were originally designed, for the management of open tibial fractures but their use has evolved over time and now used for external fixation of both diaphyseal tibial and distal femoral fractures. A SIGN nail has the advantage that, it is used without an image intensifier. The purpose of the study was to determine the early results of SIGN nailed diaphyseal tiobial fractures.
