The main objective of this study was to develop an automated human resource records management system that will aid in the management/ keeping of records. The relationships between entities were established and system flow chart diagram generated. As a result of the ever growing number of employees as well as their records, there is need by the human resource to update the database. The findings show that database applications indeed play a great role in improving decision making and management of employee records by providing timely access to information resources. The application is complete with user interface, summarized but detailed reports, update forms, for users and security controls were necessary such that the user can start deriving value from the new application.
