Abstract: The Paper reviews the Law governing intellectual Property Rights in Uganda, identifies areas requiring reform relative to international treaties and the proposals of the Uganda Law Reform Commission. Finally is treatment of intellectual property rights management geared towards the development of research findings into innovations, transfer thereof to users and private sector aimed at their commercialization and exploitation.
