dc.description.abstractThis paper outlines the evolution of the' refugee problem' in Uganda. In addition, an attempt is made to analyze the various modes of assistance offered to refugees by United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) and the state of Uganda from 1960 to present. Finally the paper identifies some obstacles/constraints to the integration of refugees within the existing framework.en_GB
